Several different types of exhauster can be specified including :-Multi-stage centrifugal exhausters, Side channel exhausters, and Positive displacement exhausters. Other types may be selected dependent on the application.

When required, and dependent on the product toxicity characteristics we can provide a HEPA filter between the primary filter and the exhauster unit which will improve the quality and cleanliness of displaced air being emitted back to the workplace or atmosphere.

A pipework system is connected back to a filter separator in which the extracted materials are separated from the motive conveying air. When designing systems we match the type/characteristics of a filter separator to the application. Several filter types are available including:- Reverse jet flat pad, Reverse jet tubular bag, Reverse jet cartridge. Many different types of discharge are available to suit customer requirements.

Dependent on the characteristics of the materials being handled or clients specific requirement pipework systems may be, for example 16 swg or 11 swg smooth bore pipe systems usually assembled with compression couplings, BS 1387 or schedule 40 heavy weight tube systems assembled with compression couplings or other materials of construction dependent on application. Hoses and tools are available in different sizes and styles to suit teh product being collected.

Dependent on the system requirements and application several different types of hose connection point are available. We offer as standard: Chrome plated hose connections for 38 mm and 51 mm units and Zinc plated hose connections for 76 mm units

Other materials of construction are available to special order.

We can design systems to meet the requirements of the ATEX Directive including providing explosion protection in the form of explosion relief panels with rupture indicator, flameless vent unit with activation indicator, inert power suppression systems. Additionally to this we can ensure the separator is provided with a flame path barrier on the material outlet and when required (dependent on pipe line size) line propagation barrier.

Filter separators can be provided with side withdrawal filters with safe change features providing reduction in dust exposure to the operator during filter cell changing, with the filters extracted directly into plastic liners and replacement via plastic liners.

Filter separator can be provided with a safe change bagging off spigot where a procedure is undertaken providing reduction in dust exposure to the operator during bagging off operations. Alternatively the unit can be fitted with a continuous liner system which is even more certain to prevent dust release.

Standard instrumentation is provided and additional application specific instrumentation can be discussed. We usually provide our systems with a control panel including the starters and generating its own control voltage, these can be designed and constructed in line with the clients site specific standards and be provided with contacts for interlocking with other site control systems and equipment.
