Quirepace have recently entered into a relationship with Oppent of Milan to supply their ranges of Pneumatic Organic Waste Systems in the UK.

Organic waste, or Bio-waste is an important topic in today’s environmentally conscious world. Bio-waste has an energy value that may be recovered. This is obviously more beneficial to the environment than many other methods of disposal such as land-fill

Organic waste systems may be either pneumatic, where the waste is transported to the slurry container, or self-contained where the waste is deposited directly into a unit housed within a standard road container

The waste is never exposed to the air after it has been loaded resulting in better hygiene, reduced smell, reduced rodent nuisance and, since waste is reduced in volume and can be held for up to 3 weeks between collections, potentially reduced collection cost

The Environmental objective is to install more bio-waste handling plants. As this objective is realised, bio-waste will increasingly be perceived as having an energy value that can be recovered.
