Hydra is a multipoint one way system designed to quickly and efficiently clear currency notes and cheques away from the trading floor. Checkouts and other cash handling areas can be fitted with discrete stations attached to the network of 60mm diameter transmission tube. The system is primarily designed to use a soft bag carrier that is transported at very high speed into a cashbox or safe. The soft bag carrier maximises the capacity of the small bore tube whilst at the same time minimising the risk of damage to the carrier or contents on arrival in the cashbox. The soft carriers are also easily stored within the checkout.
